Prediction for Biden’s running mate

With Joe Biden being the presumptive nominee for the next Democrat Presidential run, with all others falling by the wayside, attention has turned to who will be his running mate. Names have risen and fallen, particularly with Biden himself indicating that his running mate will be a woman – a statement that has been largely applauded by the media.

Even though Republicans did it earlier, and the media were less than glowing.

The United States is currently roiling in time of race tensions and a global pandemic, the former entrenching my opinion that the 2020 election is a global election with protests sparking in many countries outside the US.

Such tensions would put pressure onto Biden to select a woman of colour as his running mate.

I am unable to locate the tweet from 2016 from Hillary Clinton, but it was her tweet that identified the person I felt the Democrats would like to see on the ticket in 2020 – perhaps formerly as the candidate for President than the Veep. Therefore my prediction for Biden’s running mate would be Senator Kamala Harris. Yes, even despite Harris railing Biden on the issue of forced bussing. That Clinton so readily identified Harris after her loss to Trump in 2016 made me suspicious that she was seeking to install her puppet into the upper echelons of the party.

Clinton’s puppetry of the Democrat party is obvious, with the party discarding the grassroots movement of Bernie Sanders to nominate the former First Lady instead – something that was  later revealed to be a rigged process. Even the former head of the DNC conceded that Clinton’s sway over the party was enormous.

Why is this important?

A lot has recently been discussed over Biden’s mental faculties, particularly on right-wing outlets. He is older than Trump, and has been seen to frequently gaffe or make stunning remarks that would end a Republican’s career.

If Biden wins, and then later resigns (or is removed under the US Constitution’s 25th Amendment), then the Veep becomes President. The Trump campaign is likely to push the idea that a vote for Biden is a vote for the running mate for President.

And if that is Kamala Harris, then that vote could well be for a Hillary proxy.
